Police responded to the crash in the westbound lanes of I-495 near Exit 176 just after 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, Virginia State Police said.
Initial investigation showed that a male driver and driver got out of their Toyota Corolla that had stopped in the center of the lane.
Soon after, a Ford Ranger struck the vehicle and two males, according to police. Another vehicle struck one of the males later on as well.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Their bodies were taken to the Chief Medical Examiner for examination. Meanwhile the crash is under investigation.
